Reed Diffuser Guide

Our reed diffusers are hand-poured to provide months of enjoyable fragrance. It is crucial to use them properly to ensure the best results.

Remove the stopper from the bottle and insert 6 to 10 reeds. Allow the reeds to soak up fragrance for ten minutes before flipping to expose the oil-soaked sides and saturate the dry sides. Spread reeds evenly, then allow 24 to 48 hours for the scent to diffuse at maximum capacity.

Doing this early encourages fragrance to travel the entire length of the reeds, which maximises scent dispersion. You can adjust the strength of the scent by adding or removing reeds as required.

We advise rotating the reeds every week or two to refresh the scent and provide longevity. This prevents blockages in the narrow channels responsible for dispersing scent throughout the reeds.

When low on oil, consider refilling the bottle with one of our sustainable diffuser refills and replacement reeds for continued use.

We've paired our mango diffuser with a matching candle. They distribute a natural smelling tropical scent which reminds me of summer which is very welcome at this time of year. The candle is great for masking cooking smells.
